Dear Lynx, where is our Adina?

Why ohhhhhh, Why Oh Oh Oh!

What happened?

Adina Thembi was announced in 2022 to have joined the Lynx Entertainment label with other musicians, including Mona 4Reall. Before moving to Lynx Entertainment, Adina, has made great strides with her team on the Ghanaian market, serving hits like Why, Take Care of You, Sika, On My Way, and other exciting projects.

Albeit quiet, Adina Thembi is known for her regular hit songs that always remind Ghanaians why she is loved and remains one of the favourites. Adina is one of the few Ghanaian female artists who believes in letting the song talk for you. Adina has built one of Ghana's most formidable yet consumable brands without unnecessary gimmicks or controversies.

However, shortly after making her relationship with Lynx Entertainment official, not much is heard of the hitmaker. After the well-attended Araba Amplified concert and her project with JazziQ, Shoulder, there has been an incomprehensive silence from the artist, even after dropping her recent project, Baby.

What are people saying?

People believe all is not well at Lynx Entertainment. The once vibrant Record label serving Ghanaians with monster hits from their top acts now operates slowly and steadily, different from their usual modus Operandi. The push of Adina's beautiful project Baby has been low and has not made the impact on mainstream media as she usually does, and fans are worried.

The Talkative:

Kidi's I Lied, Kuami Eugene's Cryptocurrency, and now Adina's Baby are all receiving less attention or airplay and street activation than the usual Lynx entertainment projects, which is something everyone who is a discerning fan of the label will notice.

While there has yet to be official information on what might be happening in the label, the breakaway of some known team members to other camps raises curious eyebrows.

Although Lynx is doing all it can to promote its new school acts, DSL, Lenon, Boijake and Maya Blu, the shift of attention from the big guys on the label is noticeable.

Usually, Kuami Eugene, Kidi and Adina would have a hit song holding Ghanaians down in the club, online, on the streets and on trends preparing us for the big festivities in December. However, it hasn't been so, especially for Adina; hopefully, with such a beautiful project like Baby, she will make a solid comeback to claim her seat as the Queen of Boys.
