Two Blacko Music Videos with Police arrest scenes give us a Deja Vu Moment.

oh souja souja souja souja, stand and beat your chest them dey come!

What Happened?

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has been rumoured to have a brush with the law, as a video circulating indicates the alleged arrest of the artist upon his arrival at the Kotoka international airport.

According to some Instagram bloggers, the artist was allegedly put on a waitlist by some event organizers who had paid an upfront amount for a performance the artist never showed up for.

What are people saying?

While some bloggers are trying to put out the reason for the video seen, most Ghanaians still have a hard time believing the footage they saw. Over the years, most bloggers have made unchecked publications at the expense of creatives in Ghana, which has had a significant impact on the trust readers have for these bloggers.

On social media, some are also passing judgement and pointing fingers already. The prophets of doom also seem like this is a fulfilled prophesy and couldn't hold back their "I knew it".

Others are genuinely disappointed and are still waiting for some credible news portals to report it.

The Talkative:

Fact-checking has been among the most significant issues in the Ghanaian entertainment industry. So many rumours, videos and stories have been misconstrued at the expense of creatives. Most Ghanaian bloggers aim at being the first than being correct. The inability to check facts from the team of most creatives also allows these unconfirmed stories to linger a bit longer with many interpretations.

However, for someone like Black Sherif, the video circulating of his alleged arrest seemed like something we've seen before. The artist, in two of his most extensive videos, has acted out Police arrest, almost as though he was predicting a moment in his life where he was going to have a brush with the law.

In 45 Music video shot and chopped by TG Omori, the video depicted the artist's arrest after a massive bank robbery operation and some drugs operation. The creative masterpiece video showed the artist's lengths to make it.

Before 45, Kwaku the Traveller by David Nicolsey got Africa talking. Like 45, the lead character, Black Sherif, was arrested in the video at the end despite the numerous blessings and protection in his life.

All these arrest scenes made watching the short video circulating online almost like one of the scenes in his videos. A deja vu or something we've seen before.
