Lasmid Joins the Limited List of Rare Breed of Artists; Hammer Declares
Limited Edition Artists!
What Happened?
Legendary and celebrated Ghanaian Music producer and hitmaker Hammer has, through his official social media Handle, announced the former Highly Spiritual Artist, Lasmid, as a rare artist.
Co-signing Lasmid, Hammer stated unequivocally that:
"At this point, it's safe to add @LASMIDOFFICIAL1 to the limited list of true unique artists who sound like nothing we've heard before them. The first and last of their kind. The kind of artist others try to emulate.
This calibre is what's known as your favourite artist's favourite artist. To earn your way into this list requires that u dare to be different while remaining consistent with a style that has never been heard before. You can't fake your way into that breed.
Well done, ma guy... If u keep the creativity at this pace, it's Drake who'll be asking for a collaboration soon.
Try to repair all bad blood to break all curses and move full steam ahead. The world is yours."
What are people saying?
Online, the lovers of Ghana Music and Lasmid are thrilled about the endorsement from Hammer. Most people encouraged him to do more as his endorsement carries a weight that could aid the young musicians to do more.
The Talkative:
Hammer has been one of the most formidable gatekeepers in the music industry for over two decades. His works speak for themselves, and his contribution to the growth of Ghanaian Music cannot be overlooked.
His endorsement of Black Sherif was crucial to the Artist Black Sherif has become. Like what he has done with Lasmid, he did the same for Black Sherif some years back after the release of his first sermon. That gave the young chap the leverage and momentum to take on the world.
Tagging Lasmid as a unique artist and a member of the limited list of genuinely unique artists gives the young Musician similar leverage and endorsement. But most importantly, Hammer has advised Lasmid to repair his relationship with people who have mattered in his career journey and to break all curses from these misunderstanding the young artist has been shrouded in.
The endorsement of industry gatekeepers is well appreciated by young acts and significantly affects their confidence. More gatekeepers in Ghana are encouraged to keep the young acts motivated by appreciating their efforts instead of the constant criticism and naysaying.
